Traditional, easy flapjacks.
These traditional flapjacks taste just like when you were a kid. With just 4 ingredients they are super easy to make, perfect for any beginner bakers, making with kids, or just a quick treat!
You will need:
- 250 g porridge oats
- 120 g dairy free spread
- 120 g brown sugar
- 4 tbsp golden syrup
If you're feeling fancy... Halve the sugar and add in a ripened banana instead.
Recipe:
- Melt the butter in a pan, stir in the rest of the ingredients.
- Squish onto a baking tray to make what resembles a flapjack (or if you have them 2x8" square tins).
- Bake at 180 for about 15 minutes until they go golden brown a a little crunch on top.
- Cut into desired portions, allow to cool and enjoy!
