Sweets and biscuits you didn't realise were vegan.

When I did my first vegan shop I almost cried. I hadn't done my research so thought I was destined to never enjoy my favourite sweets ever again.

OH HOW WRONG I WAS:

  • Bird’s Custard (when made with plant milk)

  • Mr Kipling: Treacle Tart, Apple and Blackcurrant Pies

  • Nairn’s Oatcakes: Dark Chocolate Chip

  • Lidl’s Bramley Apple Pies

  • Belvita Breakfast ‘Tops’: Choco Hazelnut

  • Ritter Sport chocolate: Dark and Marzipan

  • Skittles

  • Millions: All flavours except Chocolate Strawberry

  • Haribo: Vegetarian Rainbow Twists, Vegetarian Rainbow Strips

  • Jus Rol: Gluten-free Puff Pastry, Pan Au Chocolat, Croissants and Cinnamon Swirls

  • Tesco Apple Strudel

  • Asda frozen Apple Strudel

  • Tesco Chocolate And Hazelnut Filled Mini Churros

  • Bourbon Biscuits: most brands, but always check the label

  • Green & Blacks – Dark Chocolate, Hazelnut & Currant, Ginger, Maya Gold, Espresso, Spiced Chilli, Lemon, Mint

  • Flying saucers

  • Jelly Tots

  • Cadbury's Bournville Chocolate

  • Crawford's Pink Wafers
